Recent shows include Dead Rats in Garage Land at Cirque de Fringe, Cathleen Rootsaert's Mama Mia, Me a Mama?, Shakespeare in Love Songs, which he co-created and performed with Sheri Somerville, and King Lear, Much Ado About Nothing, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Julius Caesar, and Twelfth Night for the River City Shakespeare Festival. Highlights from the past few seasons include Songs for Sinners at Catalyst Theatre; Reefer Madness: the Musical! which he co-wrote and directed at the 1997 Fringe; GIANT ANTS! at the 1996 Fringe; Knives in Hens, Bloody Poetry, and Alphonse for Northern Light Theatre; The Minor Keys (among many others) for Shadow Theatre; and Die-Nasty! at the Varscona every Monday night. He has received Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards as both a composer (Songs for Sinners) and a director (Reefer Madness: the Musical!).

LODEWYK BREDENKAMP (Ben Travato): Lodewyk is a recent graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Since his return to Edmonton, he has been seen as "Gatsby" in The Great Gatsby at last year's Bride of Frankenfringe, "Pentheus" in Theatre Prospero's production of The Bacchae, and as "Sean" in The Bumer at Theatre Network's NextFest. Lodewyk can next be seen in Kill Your Television's production of Suburbia.

CHRIS BULLOUGH (Billy/Senator Kevauver): Chris is a recent graduate of the University of Alberta Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) Program. His credits include: The Tourist (Periphery Theatre), Wrecked (Azimuth), Transit of Venus (Workshop West/Studio Theatre), How I Wonder What You Are/A Hero for All (Fringe Theatre Adventures), Mojo (Theatre Network), and The Black Rider (Edmonton Fringe '98). Recently, Chris played the role of "Smitty McEntire" on the TV series Mentors (Mentors III Productions Inc.) and starred in the 2000 Edmonton Fringe hit Danny Loves a Girl.

KIMBERLY CARROLL (Bettie Page): Kimberly is honoured to portray Ms. Page - a lady who has become one her personal heroines. You might know Kimberly from the wacky world of TV - as an arts & entertainment reporter for CBC Television and as host of A-Channel's former entertainment variety show Wired. Before entering the cushy (ha!) world of broadcasting, Kimberly worked as a performer in music theatre across the prairies. In Toronto, she performed and wrote for sketch comedy troupe RIOT, sang her way through the cabaret circuit, did some film work, and regularly guest-starred as a female drag queen (who do you think taught her to walk in those heels?!). She was last seen in Lunchbox Theatre's Pizza: A Love Story, Trevor Schmidt's The Lost Prom Queens (1998 Fringe), and, of course, the original production of Kink! at the 1999 Fringe Festival.

CARMEN DAVISON (June King): Carmen is happy to be back in Edmonton with Pegasus Theatre for Kink!. She worked all season in Calgary last year, and has just returned from The Academy in Stratford. Carmen was last seen in Stage West's Hello Dolly, Theatre Junction's Good, Denise Clark's Radioheaded, and ATP's Gifts of the Magi. She has worked with Teatro La Quindicina, Teatro Bambino, Lunchbox Theatre, and The Citadel. Future endeavours include writing a play and maybe … someday … finishing her English degree.

TOM EDWARDS (Irving Klaw): Tom graduated from the University of Calgary with a BFA in Drama, back in '87. He's performed in many plays since then, mostly in Edmonton. Recently, Tom was seen at the 2000 Fringe Festival playing Harold Ballard in Harold the Bastard. He has performed in an array of commercials, some television (Mentors) and film, with an upcoming role in a film entitled Jet Boy. He is a main cast member of the popular live-improvised weekly soap opera at the Varscona - Die Nasty!

LINDA GRASS (Paula Klaw): Linda is happy to assume the role of Paula Klaw in Kink! for her debut with Pegasus Theatre. She has previously worked with Paul Morgan Donald in Congo Song and Too Bad She's a Big Ol' Slut, both with The Unconscious Collective. This year she was seen in Beaten to Death by Gorillas (Jagged Edge Lunchbox Theatre) and The Watermelon Girls (The Unconscious Collective). She is also a vocalist with the jazz combo "Lush Life" who will be appearing weekly at the westend Elephant and Castle beginning in November. Linda is now a Bettie Page fan, but has been a fan of Kimberly Carroll's since appearing onstage with her in Winnipeg several years ago.

SHARLA MATKIN (Roz Greenwood / Sylvia): Sharla is a graduate of the University of Alberta's drama program. Her credits with Pegasus Theatre include Fringe hits Reefer Madness: the Musical (1997), and Kink! (1999). Other credits include Wes Borg's Y2K Apocalypse: The Musical, Romeo and Juliet (Edgewise Ensemble), and Congo Song (Unconscious Collective). Her biggest accomplishment this year was giving birth to her incredibly wonderful son Elijah. She wishes to thank George for his love and undying support - without him none of this would be possible.

BRYCE KULAK (Musical Director/Pianist): Bryce has been doing musical theatre for nine years, but this is his first turn as a musical director. His performer credits include Oliver!, The Music Man, and Richard III at The Citadel; Yours Anne, The Secret Garden, and Peter Pan at Stage Polaris; Wife Begins at Forty, The Sound of Music, and On Golden Pond at the Mayfield. Bryce has also played the brainy "Shipley Wilson-Oake" in all four instalments of Stewart Lemoine's Fatty series. Upcoming: Camelot at the Manitoba Theatre Centre, Theatre Calgary, and The Citadel.
